Thanks to reliable UVC-LED technology, the Keimguard disinfects your water, which has previously been freed from limescale and harmful substances. The extremely durable and economical LEDs, sourced from a leading Japanese manufacturer of this technology, provide a germicidal and disinfecting effect for up to 10,000 hours. You get optimal protection with a water flow of up to 2 liters/minute, which is sufficient for almost all users to prepare water for true drinking pleasure. Our focus with this set is to achieve the best possible drinking water quality. If you want to sterilize more liters/minute of water, our Keimguard XL will support you. The functionality of the UVC module can be described as follows:

A specially generated wavelength of the LEDs in a defined light spectrum damages the DNA of germs and bacteria, so that they can no longer replicate. The effect is the same as boiling water, only it stays cold. This way you can enjoy your water directly from the tap.

Important: We recommend a combination with our filters and our connection sets.

Attention:
As voltage peaks above 14.5V or 26.5V can occur when using lithium-ion batteries, which could damage the Keimguard UVC module, we recommend installing a DC-DC converter.

Please note that overvoltage damage to the module does not constitute a reason for complaint and any warranty claim expires!
